National Workshop Forum on the AHRB

On February 13, 2009, the Task Force Detainees of the Philippines (TFDP) and the Philippine Alliance of Human Rights Advocates (PAHRA), both members of the Philippine Working Group for an ASEAN Human Rights Mechanism, held a National Workshop Forum on Civil Society inputs to the Draft Terms of Reference (ToR) for the establishment of an ASEAN Human Rights Body (AHRB). With support from the Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development (FORUM-ASIA) around 45 representatives from non-government and people’s organization attended and actively participated in the discussions.
